A few useful resources for Adobe Flash
Posted on 31. Aug, 2009 by admin in Flash
Not in any particular order, I thought I would post a list of some of my favorite sites that offer tutorials, downloads, sound files, and more for Adobe Flash.
Flash Kit
Flashkit.com offer tutorials, sound loops and sound fx, free flash movies, as well as articles and reviews of programs that work with Adobe Flash.
Slideshow Pro and Slideshow Pro Director
Slide Show Pro is a flash based application that lets you display both images and videos on you or your clients websites. The application is available as a Actionscript 2 & 3 component as well as a Lightroom gallery extension. While the slide show that this application creates is very slick and stylish, you or your clients may want to easily add, remove, or rearrange the content in the slideshow. To accomplish this, you may want to try either a hosted or installed version of Slide Show Director Pro. SlideShowPro Director product page.
While these applications are not free, they are modestly priced. Additionally, when SlideShowPro is combined with SlideShowPro Director, your clients will find great value in being able to manage their own galleries.
Flash Components
Flashcomponents.net primarily offers a large collection of flash components that range in price from a few dollars to a few hundred dollars. When you have a specific feature to integrate into a project and time is of the essence than this site may be worth checking out. The website also offers a section with free tutorials and articles related to Adobe Flash
